Havent really been in a post updating mood.

Also been helping my buddy at his new house, so no work on sat or sun...

    From the 4th.

This may not look like much, but anyone who has a 4th gen, or pays attention to details, knows thats theres a really weird dip in the drivers side shock tower...

I only have one pic of the plates I welded on, and its on my phone. Just so you guys dont think i just filled it in with bondo.

    From the 6th

Wanted to smooth it in better, give it better curves.

And up to date.. as it sits, work from the 7th

I guess I shouldve warned you guys, and i know priming at this step is unnecessary but, I was having a hard time telling the actual shape of the shock tower, with all the different layers of bondo, it needs some work, but Im really excited with how it looks.

Looks good so far - did you use regular bondo or something that will adhere better with the expanding/contracting from the heat of the engine bay?

Its an aluminum bondo, Im hoping it does the job. Its really strong, and hard to sand.... So it better work or ill

I noticed on your parts needed list all the rear and suspension stuff. Have you checked out Midwest Chassis? He does great work and will most likely save you some money on those parts.

Yea, Ive talked to him. Nice guy, Im not really sure what im planning.

Im not really sure, where ill be buying from.

Im not sure if it would be cheaper, going with a full setup from Eric...

you sure are daring with all that you are doing to the shock towers, I've seen too many people try and clean those up and paint them on their own and have the end result look worse.. definately take your time and get them sanded PERFECT and you will have a really nice result Can't wait to see some more progress

Yea, after all the work its taken, so far... with lots to go. I might take a grinder to my wrists if this turns out like shit.

If i had to go back, id probably skip it... but its too late now.

I mean im really not about appearances... so im not one to do something like this...

If would be one hell of a stretch to say that I baby my cars. I drive the shit out of them, just like they what it. I breed whores....

Ive been out there a little. Got it smoothed out some more, but nothing you can really see in the pics. I work for 4-5 hours and the pics look basically the same. so yea...

Ive been helping a buddy work on his house, needed some work before he and his g.f could move in, so i spent the weekend over there, and obviously school eats my week...

I need to get some stuff sold, or sell a kidney, or a nut... or something... but really a job. and sell my mustang. and old parts.

HKE has the motor waiting for me, and is requesting the final $610 plus cam install money, and then freight costs...

Hows that for an update, i dont know what to do, i need to re-paint my cage for the 50th time.

Hopefully i can work on it tomorrow.
