looks like im taking delivery of my freshened up ls1 shortblock on the 25th of march. this will give me one week to get it back together and back under the car before my already scheduled dyno tune at bakers engineering wth tj on the 1st of april. my bday is the next day, wont that be a most excellent bday gift? anyone wanna spend the weekend in my garage the weekend of the 25th helping, i got the pizza and beverages.

make sure to measure for pushrod length that in itself will take a day or two if you have to order a set.

ill be installing it and the trans saturday the 26th. i can tell you ill be in the garage by 7am. not that im expecting anyone else that early, but ill be out there. i may even start on it friday night and go all weekend with no sleep, lol

i can help on sat too. as far as the going all weekend and not sleeping its not recomended .. something will get f ed up.

true! anyone know where to get some stock motor mounts and approximate cost?

might as well just buy some poly mounts and put them in your clamshells. Mine are much more solid than the old stockers and I haven't felt any excess vibration from them.

You can get them pretty much anywhere. I'm sure creight can get them. Or jegs, summit, etc.

order is in for a few things at summit. also got my fuel injectors removed today and ready to be shipped out for flow testing and cleaning. less then 3 weeks til the shortblock is home and i can start putting her back together.
