got home after a long hard day at work and my wonderful wife hands me a receipt from the engine shop that did the rebuild on my ls1. paid in full it says! she says i owe her nothing on it but there is stipulations lol. she says the rest that is needed to get the car running (tires and tune basically, plus a couple misc things) cannot be put on any credit cards and must come out of my pocket. my forged pistons were ordered with her standing right there and it should be ready earlier then expected. woot woot! i love my wifesigpic

final order for the last few pieces and parts went out to summit this morning. besides a couple gaskets that larry and i both are waiting for, i have everything needed to get the car together and running. what a great feeling
also am getting my injectors back from cruzinperformance.com. rich tested my 127k injectors and they were in as good of shape, that he was expecting after a cleaning. saved myself a lil cash there. plus he went out of his way to ship some new orings, at no charge, just to make me happy. i definately recommend rich at cruzinperformance.com for injector testing and cleaning. Thanks Rich!Last edited by Formula Z; March 13th, 2011, 04:40 PM.sigpic

just finished putting my injectors (w/ new o rings) and fuelrail back onto the ls6 intake along with new intake gaskets and tb gasket. also disassembled my clamshell motor mounts and installed the new prothane mounts. man was that a job for something so simple lol. also got my coil packs back on to the perimeter bolt valve covers. good thing cause i realized i forgot to buy new gaskets for them. couple other small things and im ready to assemble the rest of the engine and stuff it back under my bird. woot woot!sigpic
