I knew what you meant. I was just continuing with my previous post. What's wrong with your bumper?

    • Well I'm just going to continue my previous post about swapping in a big block chevy.

      The paint is jacked up!

      DSCN0236.JPG

The paint is spider webbed by the driver headlight in the middle.
And spots are missing from when I bumped it in storage into Porsche Boxer.

See driver side of the emblem? On top and bottom?

Exactly what I ended up doing last year. It was hard to sell the black one but I decided to get what I truly wanted. Haven't looked back since.

The same thing is happening to the tails on my car, I've been thinking about getting some fresh ones and sending them your way to get tinted.

            • Are proms retuneable? I thought once you burned a tune on a prom it was a one time use?

I got my prom back from pcm for less and it's the same prom I sent them. No way of telling if they did anything to it until I drive it and make sure the speedo works which won't be until April.

              Suggestions?

                • I believe EPROMs are the reprogrammable chips.

I hope so. They returned it in the same box. Same bubble wrap and my paper telling them what to do was still in the box.

                    • EPROMs are erasable with UV light and can be burned again. They don't like to do this too many times though.

I use 28 pin 512k EEPROMs with the adapter boards. These can be erased electronically and burned/flashed hundereds (if not thousands) of times.

                      • Installed the prom. Went to start it, battery was dead. So I head into the lean-to to grab the charger and it's sitting next to the wood burner. Strange, usually it's on the self. I grab it, I plug it in "buzzzzzzz pop" what the.... I unplug it quickly. Dad walks in, "ya might not want to use that I spilt my beer on it".... great

I got a hook up on 2 more 10 spokes anyone have some 275s laying around?

Put the lt1 intake back on. Anyone want a lid conversion?

                        --------

                        Plans before spring:
                        Paint rear bumper
                        Install bumper and berger panel
Wire up new pigs for tails, install tails
                        Replace wiper motor
HH mod on rear springs maybe cut 1/4 of a coil off fronts or cut stockers. (Still undecided)
                        Install the dynomouth

                        • So, I thought I pretty much had it sold yesterday (as I already ranted about it in the chit chat thread. Guy was a no call no show. He came out and looked it over this past Monday or tuesday. We talked throughout the week and he said he wanted to buy it. So I jumped when he said jump, painted the rear bumper, installed the tails, installed the tail panel, threw the hood back on, gave her a quick buff. My brother came over with his bobcat and removed the 4' drifts behind the garage. And the guy didn't call or show. We even talked yesterday morning.

                          Oh well.

I'm closing on my house this Wednesday!!!

I really think the lt1 tails flowed much better. These need to be tinted or I might just pick up another set of lt1 tails.

I got the speedo working again. (Tune fixed the issue)

                          • Agreed. I have two sets of LS tail lights in my basement. Snagged the lights off of Yoshi before I junk it and put them on my 98
