Exactly what I was thinking. I'm very impressed you've gotten them to fit also Michael! I have an set of 17x9 WS6 wheels I want to widen/narrow and this was why I've held off on widening the rears. Nice to know it's possible though, even if it's close. I don't want to run spacers on the rear on a sticky(ish) tire.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostYou added all the width to the inside of the wheel whereas the 17x11 ZR1s or TTIIs people run have a different offset. I never thought about that til now, honestly kinda surprised you got them to fit!

Yeah I wouldn't even of attempted it if the zr1s wern't the same offset. Since they were I knew it was possible. The main teason I had fitment issues was going from the 555r's to NT05r's.But with the bfh I got them to work.Originally posted by birdie2000 View PostExactly what I was thinking. I'm still mad at myself for not rolling the fenders before the bodywork
I'd really like to lower the car a bit more for that perfect stance but I don't want to risk cracking the paint by rolling the fenders.
I'm having thoughts of selling the car again. I gotta get out of the house.... Don't know how much longer I can put up with my father.
Probably this week I'm going to buy the window regulator and have one of the body guys at work that owes me a few favors install it.
I heard 6le is closing his doors, man I'd love a cme, not in the budget unfortuntually.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

I'm really surprised that the 10 spokes are the same offset as 17x11 ZR1's. Every set of 17x11 ZR1's I've seen has made the wheel/tire combo stick out from the fender opening significantly more than stock wheels.
Either way, awesome to see they fit!

pretty sure 17x11s zr1s are not the same offset as a regular ZR1... the hub area is deeper.
Also, I apologize i wasnt able to meet up with Brian prior to superfest.... is there something else we can work out for this upper console?-Joel

The zr1's I had were aftermarket. I sold them to Raz Blue04ss unless they Mis stamped them, they are both 50mm offset.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Postpretty sure 17x11s zr1s are not the same offset as a regular ZR1... the hub area is deeper.

No biggie, I didn't end up going anyway. Wanna ship it? Ill cover the costs, it's pretty light I can't see it being too expensive. In no super rush. Ill probably be doing the swap not this coming weekend but the following.
I still need a dust shield. Patrick said he was going to look into shipping it but I haven't heard back. I don't want to be a pest so I have let it be. If anyone is in the owasso area that wants to swing by Patrick's house and do the shipping I'd be more than happy to Paypal you the trouble. Patrick doesnt have Paypal...2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Michael, if you can't find anything else by the time you're ready to do the swap, I have a dust shield I'll let go of. Was going to hang onto it in case I ever went back to my stock bellhousing but honestly I doubt that day will come.

I'm going to start on the swap this weekend. I might go to test and tune Sunday or next Wednesday. I need to read up on adjusting the shifter cable so I can get it to shift into first manually.
Couple of questions on the swap, do I need to get a new pilot bearing and throw out bearing? Where can I get them from? Where do they go (super noob)?
The clutch only has around 1500 miles on it the throw out bearing is located on the pressure plate right? :/
Next- Nick brought it to my attention that there is a cable on my steering column that runs to my shifter assembly that prevents the key being turned unless its in park? The write upsays to remove it. I'm assuming I won't need to reinstall it since I won't have park.
I think I have everything I need except for a few minor nuts and bolts.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

I'd reuse the throw-out bearing, but you're going to need a new pilot bearing/bushing since you don't have one right now with the auto. Many people have different opinions on whether to use the bushing or the bearing, personally I'm partial to the bushing.
