  • Yes Sean remember we talked about them?

right now they are being a pain. The 555rs were narrower which I had plenty of room. These nt05rs are rubbing like a mofo. I have been banging on the inner fenders for awhile now and they aren't moving for crap. Fml. Wanted to make it to Milan

    • Will the rear of the car move side to side? I have about 1/4" clearance between the tire and inner wheel well

          • Sorry Sean wasn't trying I be a jerk, I was frustrated to hell over the wheels not fitting. I should of known. I got them close enough (inner fenders still need some bfh'ing)

12.76 ended up being my best time.
I was expecting a better 60ft. I think my best was 1.7x I did a long smokey burnout.

I heard a few guys complaint about track prep but I don't want to start blaming stuff. My shift points still aren't exactly where they need to be. I was going to shift it manually but I think my cable needs adjustment it wouldn't go into first (even with taking off upper center console)

Nice meeting you Mike, sorry I didn't chat more didn't want to bother you guys. The car is amazing by the way

            • You added all the width to the inside of the wheel whereas the 17x11 ZR1s or TTIIs people run have a different offset. I never thought about that til now, honestly kinda surprised you got them to fit!

It was nice meeting you too. Car looked great. I didn't get to see it make a pass tho. We ended up having a few issues which took up a lot of time and ultimately ended our night.

They are the same offset. The 555r's are just such a narrow tire.

                        • I wish I could get more info on the govenor weight swap. I watched the how to vid on YouTube. I swapped one weight out and it made my 2-3 shift where it needs to be, my 1-2 is still early. Then when I hit 4th it falls on its face.
I'm curious if I swap the other weight if it'll change my 1-2?

I want to get it all sorted out before I sell the trans.

I think it has consistant low 12s with the bugs worked out and maybe a 1.6 60 and some weight reduction.

                          Thats a lot of "I's"

                          • Letting the car go into 4th @ WOT will make quick work of that transmission.

Maybe it's 3rd? That would make more sense wouldn't it?

                              • Going to pull off the passenger valve cover seems like one of the rockers is making more noise than it should. Hopefully Chang the oil too. The fusion needs brakes first.

Mounted up, passenger side wheel hits on really bad pot holes so it still needs some finessing.
