Ohh, I see, good eyes! If they are 20% off, then they are $320 plus $100 to ship.Originally posted by Fox Slaughter View PostYeah so you can get the 400 buck ones and just do that to them.
$420 for new seats is worth it compared to spending $350 on mine to recover them.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

FYI i paid $300 shipped for mine, might want to check around. Those look like they may be somewhat better quality but im happy with mine.
Thats a very interesting method he used to mount them. Not the same thing i did at all, i didnt even think about trying to adapt stock sliders since my stock seats were power. (scroll back several pages in my build thread and youll see what i did.). I give him props, looks like that worked pretty well too and was probably a lot easier than my custom brackets. Most people use universal adapters that put you head through the ceiling.
Also if it were me, id "spring" the 700r4 so it wants to shift very early, like 2500 rpm. That way you can essentially shift it manually. Thats how brian had his 93z setup and it was a blast to drive. 4L60es arent cool enough to do that effectively without having a delay

Joel- I dont have any desire to shift it manually. My luck I'll screw something up with my $700 trans kit. Plus I would of done a m6 swap
right now its shifting at 4600 wot. Needs to be 6200 lol. It's going to be a totally new car!
As for the seats I think I might go with Seans stockers...
Edit: I bought the Dakota ditigal speedo recalibration. Pcmforless had it for cheaper

Pulled her outside to breathe for a bit today.
Something needs to be done with the seat situation. even if I picked up seans mint ones I think they would still clash with the interior.
