Haha thanks and good luck! If it moved, I'm guessing one of those "end nuts" wasn't tightened.

      • I just ordered a "fastbird" heated O2 conversion wiring harness. $65, I could of made one but I'd rather spend the extra cash to buy a plug an play one. Getting some nice pictures taken tomorrow for my calendar entry the guy does photography on the side for fun/extra cash. He said he will take some pics of my car for practice since he hasn't done cars before. He usually does family pictures.

I weighed the car again this weekend.

Just over a 1/2 tank of gas 3300lbs

          What's a 1/4 tank of fuel weigh?

Also, won my first race against my buddies mystery foxbody build. 2 runs from a dig.
The reason I say mystery is because he bought the car and the owner had no idea what was don't to it. Apparently it has a fully forged bottom end, has a small cam and intake. Pretty sure bigger injectors too.

          • Changed the fuel filter today. I believe it had a stocker on it but I'm unsure since I didn't see any markings on it. Look at what's coming out!!!Heated O2 conversion I did last week. Now for the issue, I know it's a shitty vid but I think you get the point. This is wot @70mph. What could be the problem?

            • If someone could really help me out with this I'd be happy camper

I'm making a bracket for the exhaust. I'm trying to make one like the stock one.

Here is what I have so far...

This is what im trying to accomplish:
              http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=390447216010

              Or rockauto.com p/n 36398

              What I need to know:
              Angle of bend
              Width
              Total length (not as crutial)

              • You can get pretty close by eyeballing the angle and measuring for the width if you have all the other parts. Even if someone gave you those dimensions you're only going to be close anyway.

Do you have the rubber piece still on the car? Do you have the exhaust pipe with the other part of the hanger welded to it for the bolt and such?

If so, measure the width of the slot, and you have your width close enough then play with it until it's tight.

Same with the angle, start with a 45° angle, support the rest of the muffler/tailpipe section with the other hanger(s) then prop that side of the muffler up either by hand or jack/jackstand and play with the angle that looks right.

Once it's close enough, mark your bolt hole and drill.

                • I have the rubber piece on the car but dont have the exhaust yet. I'm at work and wante to make it close as possible while I was here. I'll end up taking home the piece and see if it fits in the rubber piece on the car. I can always drill the hole later.

Just wanted to be close as possible

                      Haters gonna hate!

In all honesty, we are slow as crap at work so instead of sitting around not making money I my as well make the most of my time and the exhaust is supposed to be in tomorrow, by the time I get the part it will be another week. And I'm impatient when it cones to car parts coming in. Aren't we all?

                      • I got the exhaust in. It's a LM1 I'm ditching the resonator and keeping my dynomax (for now).I can't say I am overly impressed with the condition of the tips. One is fine but the other has a huge dent and bad rash on the bottom side My bracket worked great! The exhaust shop is going to bend up a 60 degree angle 3" pipe so I can finish up the exhaust. Also need to pick up another band clamp.

                        • Come on body guy, bump that dent out and sand out the rash, it'll be good as new

Are you keeping this exhaust or is it temporary? Your post sounds like you intend to change it.

. Lol I plan on keeping the exhaust for awhile. Or at least until it gets annoying. I may change out the dynomax for a borla or a magnaflow.

                              • Got the pipe I needed. 60 degree bend. $20

I still need to get a few band clamps

I'm not fully satisfied with the way the tips sit.

I'll adjust some things tomorrow and see what I can do. It also very close to my ujoints/drive shaft end cap.

Little did I know the scrap steel I was using for my bracket was high strength steel :emb:
Therefore I didn't need the extra support. No wonder it was a pita to bend!!!
                                Final product:

Edit: probably get some Corsa clones in the near future. I'd really like to get some cme tips. But$$$$$$$$$ :/
