I wanted to hunt you down but figured you had your rounds you wanted to make and had plenty to do when you got there. My girlfriend said you waved on the way out. Glad you guys liked it

              • Not sure if you know but there is a way to route the plug wires behind the accessory bracket so they aren't near the belt. You can't see it from any angle with the engine in the car, you have to just feel around and you'll find it.

I couldn't find the 4 wire 90 degree clip originally or it wouldn't of happen

                  • You don't need those

The wires can go straight back behind the bracket right from where they connect to the opti in the picture. Safer than the factory routing anyway.

                    • Any suggestion on gear brands or the go to place for them?

Which "install" kit should I go with?

                      • Motive is definitely a good brand to go with. The 2 series gears are a little harder to find. The 3 series gears are only $150. Summit had them a little cheaper:

                          • The 2 series are a thicker gear set so they are going to be more expensive. You could always change the carrier. Might be able to score one for cheap/free somewhere.

                              Wouldn't thicker be better?

                              • The 2 series ring gear flange is offset more to the left to accomodate the larger diameter pinion gear of the higher ratio. I don't know if one is actually stronger than the other, I would guess not.
