I wanted to hunt you down but figured you had your rounds you wanted to make and had plenty to do when you got there. My girlfriend said you waved on the way out. Glad you guys liked itOriginally posted by meissen View PostCar look beautiful yesterday, Mike. Sorry I didn't get a chance to really talk to you. We were tallying up the votes as you left, we all had to stop and drool for a moment while you pulled out of your spot.

Thanks again Larry for everything! Brian, you have yourself a great father! Real down to earth guy!!!Originally posted by Plum Nuts View PostGlad I did get a moment to stop and look at your car, Paint look awesome and the whole car came out great. Good Job!2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Not sure if you know but there is a way to route the plug wires behind the accessory bracket so they aren't near the belt. You can't see it from any angle with the engine in the car, you have to just feel around and you'll find it.-Joel

You don't need those
The wires can go straight back behind the bracket right from where they connect to the opti in the picture. Safer than the factory routing anyway.-Joel

Motive is definitely a good brand to go with. The 2 series gears are a little harder to find. The 3 series gears are only $150. Summit had them a little cheaper:

Wouldn't thicker be better?Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostThe 2 series are a thicker gear set so they are going to be more expensive. You could always change the carrier. Might be able to score one for cheap/free somewhere.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

The 2 series ring gear flange is offset more to the left to accomodate the larger diameter pinion gear of the higher ratio. I don't know if one is actually stronger than the other, I would guess not.sigpic
