  • Ported heads that flow low 250's cfm and a 219/227 cam with mid .500's lift. It's nothing radical at all. Now I'm not 100% positive that there's no downside to running 42s, but my tuner told me it was fine before I bought them and everything seemed to work fine from a driver's perspective.

    • 42s will allow you to run corn though

DJ makes pretty full use of his 42s in the Mustang running E85

      • VERY NICE!!!! Yeah I have been a slave to my job, the place is out of control, its worse than a kindergarten.. One employee hit me with a grease gun handle, throwing it at me cause he was pissed I stepped on his hose while he was rolling it up, hit me in the ribs, good thing I saw it coming I was able to dodge it otherwise would have hit me in the face, so I took it too my supervisor and he told me "stop horsing around" when I explained my side and tried not blowing my top, he said well things happen, go back to work.. So YEAH I am not working tons there anymore instead I am working on finding a new job.. so hopefully I will have a little more time to see some of the forum stuff..

Sorry bout the rant in your thread..

                • Don't mind the filthy engine bay. That's what I get for living on a dirt road

I tried doing the phb but those bolts aren't going anywhere lol. So they are getting the pb blaster treatment for the next few days and I'll have to try again.

                    • Yup Im prolly going to have to put the ole torch to them.

I finally showed the car to the previous owner. He was in shock and quote "it looks sick and sounds even sicker" lol he was pretty impressed.

Pretty sure I'll need one of these kits. But I'm going to do gears first and see if that changes anything.

I still need to figure out what rear end rebuild kit and gears to go with.

Id really like to run her before winter.

The old green was starting to show. Long story short, back when I originally owned it I wanted my car to be that color green, so I painted the calipers in high hopes my car would be green someday... Lol

                        Did the spindles too

I know the k member looks like hell. Tubular is on the list.

                        • I'm starting on the undercarriage.

It looks worse that it is

I have a little angle grinder and some 36 grit and it takes out the surface rust quick.

                          Before:

In the process: I left the tail panel uncoated because I need to grind down the rust and etch it.

I am going to order a set of LCAs and relo brackets before I drive it again. The phb is sitting in the garage so all that stock junk will be coming off. The rear calipers will be getting painted too.

The rear axle is going to get sanded down real well and get painted.

Maybe in 20 years and another $10,000

Did some high temp silver on the heat shield tonight. Next is above the rear end. I'm gonna have to tape up alot.
