Cool thanksOriginally posted by Fox Slaughter View PostI have a 160* stat and it only goes half way between the 160* and the next line.
It is about 80c which is 176f. Remember a t-stat is rated for when it starts to open up.

I drove it about 55 miles today. Came back and noticed one of my primary's wasn't blue (from the heat) I crawled under and noticed the plug wire was popped off the opti.
I popped it back on and drove a few more miles. Seemed a bit smoother.
It seem like it had a hard time find what gear it wanted to be in. Also when I gave it WOT it wouldn't get near red line. It shifted around 4500 (stock tach).
Other than that, no leaks, no funky smells, cruised on the highway around 70-75 the best. It seems like the lOckup on the stall is around 40-50. The rpms jump ups and down. Then it's good after 50mph.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

I dropped the car off to the trans guy to get the park issue fixed. Also have home drive it and see why I'm only at ~1000-1200 rpms cruising at any speed. Hope he gets it resolved.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Who doesn't like good news!?!?
He said my rpms are so low during cruising on account of my stock 2.73's :emb:
He fixed my park issue (dont ask how, I'll see what it was tomorrow)
Tomorrow after work he is going to adjust my dropdown.
So, I need a set of 3.73's. He said he can install them. What brand do you guys suggest?
I'm a happy camper

2.73's? Geez, that thing is gonna feel like a whole different car when you get some gears in it!

I sure hope so!Originally posted by birdie2000 View Post2.73's? Geez, that thing is gonna feel like a whole different car when you get some gears in it!
Currently, so so... I hate cruising at such low rpm. I have to mash the gas just to get out of my own way. Also I need to figure out what springs I need for my governor so I can change my shift points.Originally posted by jderry View PostHow do you like how it drives with the cam?
Mines just about the same 228/236 .576/.571 110 LSA from LE also.2002 Z28 Camaro A4
