There is an adjustment where the bracket bolts to trans. the are two nuts that you adj to move cable back or forward to get into Park.Originally posted by mcalus View PostStill needs some minor adjustments but I think it's just about set

Tomorrow we are bleeding the brakes, doing the rear lowering springs, finishing up the exhaust, putting the hood on and hopefully figuring out the park issue. Is there an adjustment for the cable?sigpic

With your car being a 93, it might be slightly different since you don't have the 4L60e.- Brian Meissen

I was thinking the same thing. I don't recall anything being there. Hmmm. I'll have to take a look at it on my lunch break.Originally posted by meissen View PostWith your car being a 93, it might be slightly different since you don't have the 4L60e.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

That it would, but I don't think it would be the most cost efficient wayOriginally posted by nascarnate326 View PostI do believe the T56 mod will fix the park related issue.

We got the rear springs in.

Pulled the oil filter off, found some surface rust on the block. Cleaned that up, went to put new filter on.. Wrong one. I'd sure like to run a parts store and see what the big deal is on getting the correct parts the first time... Grr.
Hopefully that fixes my oil leak.

I don't think it ever had a stock cooler.Originally posted by Boost Addict View PostDo you got your oil cooler deleted? If so you need a different filter than stock. Ac Delco number 1218, WIX 51060.
The filter I had fit fine, he just gave me the wrong one this time around.
Also, my temp guage on my dash still isn't going past the first mark. Installed a new temp sensor on drivers head. Has brand new t stat.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

How long are you letting it run? It might just not be warming up that much or maybe you have an air pocket in the coolant.- Brian Meissen

Wix 51061 also fits. Same as the 51060 but one doesnt have a reverse flow check valve which our vertical filters dont need anywayOriginally posted by Boost Addict View PostDo you got your oil cooler deleted? If so you need a different filter than stock. Ac Delco number 1218, WIX 51060.-Joel

I have driven it about 2 miles. I figured it would be up to temp by then. Wouldn't an air pocket cause it to over heat, not stay "cold"Originally posted by meissen View PostHow long are you letting it run? There was a bit of surface rust on the block where the oil filter seals. Cleaned it up with a scotch brute and some steel wool. Got a new filter, changed the oil to some break in oil and the leak is gone. Pshew
Drove it about 5 miles today. The temp guage got about halfway. I didnt even think of the fact i didnt have a hood nor a bumper on. I bet its cooling it down quit a bit. Will i be okay driving it around until i get my trans cooler on in a week or so? Going to put much more on tomorrow. I can't wait! Bodywork is getting done Wednesday and Thursday night, then spraying it next weekend.
I'm still having issues with park. Currently P is R, R is N, N is D...
I got the night painting position!!! I should easily double my income! I can't wait! I start June 1st

I have a 160* stat and it only goes half way between the 160* and the next line.
It is about 80c which is 176f. Remember a t-stat is rated for when it starts to open up.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I need to get one of thosesigpicOriginally posted by ryanwarby01Put it this way, if you have a money tree a LT1 is a wood chipper!
