But really, you can pick up a low mileage c5 z06 for ~20-22k. That's around $400 payment a month. Plus insurance which shouldn't be more than $150 a month (on the high end)

I live at home too. Rofl. My payment on my Cruze for 5 years at 15K 2.09% is 263 a month. My insurance on it is like 120 a month full coverage.

Wow you guys are paying a ton for insurance! My TA is $450 / 6 mos. for full coverage through AAA. Helps having a second vehicle I'm pretty sure.

I have collector car insurance on mine. $500 a year premium, $100 deductible, 6000 miles a year with a replacement value of $15k.

Full coverage for my Camaro for 6 months is 338 dollars. The Cruz is 675. So 57 for camaro and 113 for the Cruz a month.

Mine was 148 a month for 4 months then 2 months off (aaa) for full coverage on the 99 and storage on the Lincoln.

Got the brake lines routed, oil dipstick in and bolted up, motor mount bolts tightened down.

I wasn't planning on putting the ac compressor back in just yet. I can get a shorter belt and not run a dummy pulley do I?

I have seen people saying they are just running a shorter belt but I don't know.

According to ShBox you need to run the delete pulley which you can get from NAPA for 40 bucks.

The trans is done. Got a text from him tonight saying it was a pain in the ass. He is bringing it to work tomorrow. Curious to see what he is going to charge me...

Looks great man and I disagree you can buy a vette and still keep that! Don't sell it you will regret it a second time. Plus you'll never get your money out of it at this time.

I agree with Darren, keep the 93 and buy a C5Z if thats what you want.
Last Spring I sold my 93 auto with 17" SS wheels for $3900. It had 193,000 miles but the body was extremely clean.
I know you have a lot of money in the rebuild but I would value you it $3500-5,000 range.

You need to put the convertor on the trans, then install the transm then install the convertor to the flexplate.
