Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I bought my old 93 Z28 back, now it needs some TLC
If that's a stainless Y-pipe for the ebay/LPP headers, I have a brand new y-pipe for LPP's that's leftover if you want to mock it up first and see if it'll fit (with the addition of reducers of course).
edit: Just looked up the full ad, that's almost exactly what I have. If you can use it it's yours. It's just collecting dust and it's not really worth much.

Nice, they let you do little jobs on your own stuff? Are you going to be able to paint the whole car their lol?
Not really lol, my manager frowns apon it lol. He usually doesn't mind if we pay for the products though. Yeah I'll be repainting it there this summer. As soon as I get it running I'll be taking it in.

You should get some more practice in on your old car first!

man your K-member/control arms look about as bad as mine.Rusty as hell. Motor looks great though. Couple of questions (I've read you're ENTIRE build btw), What is this POR 15 every one keeps recommending? Just a good paint or like a sealer or what? Because I really need some if it helps lol.
Next, Those exact headers are on Ebay for 385.00 right now, with out shipping. How did you get them for 335 with shipping? Will an ORY fit up to those? Because it looks like you're gonna need some serious fabbing to make it work. I know they are nice and Stainless and all, but it might be worth it for me getting the pacesetters with their aftermarket ORY that's all direct bolt in, I bet you'd come out cheaper after all the fabbing of the exhaust you'll need.. but I could be wrong.
Last, how quickly do painted headers rust through? I don't care about shiny or pretty, just don't want any holes. Anybody have any painted headers that lasted less than a couple years???
I'm doing full exhaust this spring, which is why I'm curious about all this. Great job on the motor thus far, wish mine looked as good as yours does. And I wanted that dashpad you bought BAD!

Reason: who cares
Pacesetter LT's, Pacesetter ORY, full MSD ign., 2 step, rear LCA's, SFC's, B&M Ripper, poly motor mounts, Nitto NT05R's, WS6 wheels, KYB AGX adj. suspension, Eibach Sprotline springs, Trickflow elbow w/K&N, All HVAC deleted w/ delete panel, no AIR, No EGR
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but por 15 is a undercoating, I have heard good things and bad things about it, I haven't personally used it.
I believe the website for the headers was ssaccessories.con. IMO, if you have some time to spend on installing these I would get them. The reason I got them was because my motor was out, if I needed to grind the k member or clearance anything it would be much easier. If my motor wasnt out would I get these? Probably not. Again, IMO pacesetter painted lts are junk, they fit great but they will litterly start to surface rust in matter of a month, I bet they wont actually blow a hole through in many many years.
I'm getting an lpp ORY this weekend and I'll have to see how much modifying it will need. I know the primarys are 3.5" on these lts and the typical ORY is 3".
All in all in the end I do think it will be cheaper, I bought these headers expecting to have figment issues.
The dash went to a good home lol
