Ive found that people want to buy cheap cars but they are never truly complete. My car may be a 98 and it has a few issues but its 100% complete. Nothings severely messed up, missing, etc. Your car is the same. Fully functioning.
I damn near gave my black car away..killed me to do it. Looking back I would have kept it and put parts on it.

He got ahold of me. Thanks joel. I'm not in a super rush for it I more or less just wanna get all the parts gathered so I'm not pulling a dash from a junkyard come winterOriginally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostHe ended up having to fix his transmission on his jeep this weekend so im guessing he didnt get a chance to follow through with that. I gotta grab my spare aluminum driveshaft back from our buddies place ill see if theres a parts pile i can check on when im there.
ain't nobody got time for that.
Thanks Nate. I know it's far from being the cleanest 93 but it's just tough finding mint condition parts for these cars. When you do find them people think they are made of gold and want an arm and a leg for them.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostFrom what I seen your car seems pretty well put together.
Because all these first gens running around are 100% nut and bolt correct...give me a break.

Sorry about that we only had one night to part the car down, we werent exactly paying a lot of attention to detail and niether of us had never taken a dash apart before.

I most likely wont do the front end conversion nor an lsx swap. I'm sure I can get one from a junkyard but Ill have to pull the dash to get it. Just kinda bummed, I was pretty specific that I wanted it with the dash.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostMaybe a junkyard would have a dash harness? I don't even know what it looks like so I am not much help on that one.
Are you going to make the car into a 98-02, just PPM?
Edit: I had a guy consider my car "frankenstined" together. I think he was just upset I didn't take his $5500 offer and to meet him halfway to buffalo... Sorry bro.Last edited by mcalus; September 1st, 2014, 05:50 PM.

So, I ended up getting a redlinegoods boot and ring. It was 30% off! Couldn't beat that.

I am trying to come across the few parts I need for the dash swap so I can get started on this.
Came across this shift boot on ebay. I'm sure it isn't as nice as an oem one but for the price?! For $5 more you can get a leather one. Has anyone one tried this?

Also, I know 6LE sells the shift boot rings for $45 that are metal. Plastic new ones are $20. Which should I go with?
I bought a headlight switch for $12 off ebay.
Got the new/used center console lid on. Not perfect shape but much better that what was on there. Also got the console all cleaned up.

I think the only 2 things I need is the wiring harness for the dash. It was suppose to come with that dash but... So no idea where I am going to find that...
Also I need the dash pad. Which I might end up getting the one on ebay.

Well I'm not looking for something perfect. Ill look into the ZT2 and the LC1. Thanks!Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostIf they are anything like AEM UEGO style, don't trust them to be very accurate. That said, I have the AEM in my IROC just to make sure I don't go too lean.
I have a Zeitronix ZT-2 and Innovate LC-1 that I use while tuning.
Back on the speaker subject. My head unit is a pretty new (in the last 2 years) Pioneer. So I figured id stick with Pioneer speakers.

Edit: I got my new/used arm center console lid. It should look much better than the homemade one. I really wanted to work on the ttop swap and dash swap this weekend but i have too much planned ;(Last edited by mcalus; August 29th, 2014, 06:36 PM.

Sticking around for the answer on that, I've been wondering the same thing.
