You should look into a 4" over the radiator cai... that's what I have on my lt1 car.. my buddy Josh is a distributor for them and got me everything for like 50 to 60 bucks and they look awesome and are functional.

I have used 3M adhesive remover on interior plastics with no fading. Just make sure that whatever you use, you clean it off after you finish with soap and water.

This may be the stupidest (is that a word) post I have yet to make on this thread so bare with me.
I have been thinking of turboing her again.
Now, I still have the stock shortblock in the garage (needs rebuilding) that I intend on building one day...
How stupid/unrealistic would it be to put a turbo on my current setup? Current setup as in cam/shortblock with the compression ratio and pistons I have. What if I kept it super low psi (6ish).
Now I am far from knowing the ins and outs of boost but I have done some learning along the way. I have seen people see how far they can take a stock shortblock until it grenades but I haven't seen what happens when you take a "higher" compression motor and add a turbo.
RealQuick on ls1tech/camaroz28 and ltxtech is back to making turbo kits for a reasonable number. He is only doing the hot sides at the moment but if I slowly gather things I don't see why I can't pick up a coldside, wastegate, turbo, bov, and some oil lines along the way (assuming I can find some).
http://www.lt1boost.net/cast_manifold_kit
Building the stock spare shortblock and trying to get this turbo kit together as well as all of the other supporting mods ill need (tubular k, fuel system, tune etc) surely isn't in the budget because that will be every bit of 10k.... (2-3k in shortblock, 4k in turbo system, 500 in fuel system, 400 tune, tubular k 400 etc).
Maybe I am just dreaming and I need to save my pennies and to it all right the first time around. sighhhh.....2002 Z28 Camaro A4

whats the lobe seperation on your cam? I suspect you'll have quite a bit of boost wasted in blow-through unless you change it.-Joel

What's all in your short block again? Stock or ARP rod bolts? What pistons? What is your compression currently? And what headgaskets did you use?

110 is typically a lot of overlap for boost you usually want 114-117.-Joel

Stock head gaskets iirc. Heads are milled .020. Bored .030 over. hypereutectic pistons (not sure on brand) arp rod and mains. All new bearings throughout.
It's been awhile since I calculate the cr but I think it's low 12s.2002 Z28 Camaro A4
