little update, rims are on there way should be here by the end of the week. had a problem with them not being in stock anywho she should be in cruising shape by the weekend.


i just got done installing the driveshaft loop i picked up. that little bugger was a pain in the a$$ to get in.

stripped some paint on the bottom edge of my quater panel near the wheel well. there was a tiny bit of rust tht i didnt want spreading. hit it with a quick layer of primer and now waiting. slow bit iof progress today.


then thursday when i get paid ill be ordering a bracket from nitro dave to remount my nitrous bottle.


right now all the big things are pretty much bought and paid for just small things keep coming up. also need to have my gears unstalled by scott over at DLS

number wise if 75 hit of spray idk how that transfers to the wheels horsepower wise, but looking for 12s if i can hook. the goal is 11s but not on this engine and rear end 125xxx miles on her and not being a trailor queen im expecting things to break before i can start my 11 second build.

and alright because its been forever and i want approval lol these are the rims i bought. reason being is because i bought my car with enkeis on them, black with a machined lip and i really liked them but i could only get a 245/45 tire on them. sold them for my ss rims then in turn sold those for these new vette rims im waiting to get

I totally approve of the wheels, I think those look great and will look even better on your car. I'm a fan o the black wheels only when they have that chrome or polished lip that sets it apart from the dark tire! Good choice, and I will be following this thread from now on!

Haha yeah I know what you mean, I am the same way in college and paying for it all on my own so doing progress on my car is very slow moving as well. Even so I am loving your car so any updates are good updates...
