  • well if my taxes come back exactly how they are suppose to im going to be stowing away a good chunk of money for when either my engine blows or my rear snaps.

now for opinions, ford 9" or moser 12 when the rear goes? my cars a 6speed and i hear people have there pros and cons about both

now if the engine blows im going with forged internals and a 400 crank. maybe a small bore if it needs it but if not no. but question is what would i want? eagle i hear makes a decent stroker kit but i would have no clue what to buy.

i would like peoples help and opinions on this situtation that i know i will be faced with but hopfully not some day to soon

          • I vote 9" for the rear, a 12 bolt is nice and strong but in all honesty I don't see you ever breaking a 9" so its a no brainer IMO.

thanks for the input, i just ask because i remember hearing somewhere that if you have a auto you got this rear end if you had a manual you got the other.

              • nope, you can do either one but people were saying that because autos don't put nearly as much strain on a rear as a manual and a 12 bolt is usually more than enough for an auto car. I would say put a 9" in and be done with it either way.
