      • Can't wait to see these brake lines all done up. I think I might polish the ones that are visible and then clear coat them so they'll stay nice and shiney.

Going to drive it as much as possible. Not in the rain anymore, but yeah as much as possible daily drive it during the nice weather.

Covering the holes from the positive battery fuse link location. I also covered the power steering reservoir holes not realizing that the power reservoir goes there. But yeah, this is what it looked like - and that's with most of the rust still covered. Once I got rid of the rust the metal was pretty well eaten away at the thickness.

By the time I sanded the rust down the metal dipped down like a pothole.

                  • Haha yeah it wasn't too bad. There was a lot of rust around the seams and what not but I covered them in POR-15, then plan to primer and paint over it.

                        • Battery trays are high-rust areas. Totally fixable.

All these people actually drive their cars, though.

Thanks for the reminder! I forgot to throw up a thread in the event forum for Weekend Party Part 2 for tomorrow and Sunday.

Overall the agenda for the weekend is to try and do as much of the brake line swap and possibly swap rear ends. Depends on how much room we really have though - the rear end of the car is as far back in the garage as we could get it.
