Sweet man! What did you end up going with (color, options, etc)

Put my new poly engine mount in tonight, pretty straight forward install, minus the fact i knocked the fitting out of my heat exchanger circuit reservoir, so I had to re-epoxy it in, but whatever.

              Stock one

              Stock mount out

A comparison between new and old: Cast Aluminum and rubber vs 1/4" steel and 6061 Aluminum with a poly bushing - powdercoated

              Installed

              The whole package

Now...I feel...a lot more vibrations - like a ton more, and makes more noise. I do hope it settles (like I've been told it does). I'm keeping my stock one for the time being, just in case... The noises my engine made before is definitely magnified now... I don't know if I really like it or not...

I haven't launched from a dead stop, but that'll tell me if it's much different or not. If not, stock goes back in...

                • what is the purpose of it kyle? Kind of like solid motor mounts of a poly trans mount?

It's a poly engine mount, supposedly helps get the power to the wheels a lot better. Didn't notice much different from a roll - but I think from a dead stop would be where it would be noticed. I'll test that out tonight, haha.

The off idle (transitioning from idle to revving) vibration right now is absolutely insane, and it was present with the stock [extremely soft rubber] mount - but you couldn't feel it or hear it as much.

Anyone who rides in my car until it quiets down will need a disclaimer, haha.

                      • I've been in vehicles with poly mounts - this is way more vibration/noise...it literally rattles everything in my interior at some points...

MY GTP has those and it vibrates like crazy soon as the supercharger spools up

but if its rattling that bad, You may have issues somewhere else....

                          • Was fine with the stock mount.

I'll run it till it's broken in and see what I think then.
