        • It is looking reall good. You're close as Hell right now. I know that chomping at the bit feeling myself right now and I hope for both of us it's Monday (though it's pretty sick looking forward to Mondays, but after our blasts from our savings, I'll look forward to this one). I hope to see the car out soon, man. By the way, I would put some paint over the primer, just because it'll hold moisture, if you happen to get in the rain, which will erode the metal faster than usual.

I think that is a very good idea. I have a mini sledge (5 lbs but in a hammer size) if you want to beat that panel in a little farther just for insurance. Now is the time to do it. Remember Larry Meissen's philosophy... "Do it right the first time"

              • Well I took a hammer to Kyle's car. He has more than enough clearance now. Should be good to go as soon as he gets the wideband!

                • Thanks again, Fred! I got that lip pushed back onto itself, and I just primed it.

It's weird, Dupli Color doesn't make a paint to match Summit White...hopefully Olympic White matches...

                    • Fine, Mr. Pushy.

After Fred's turn with the hammer:

After primer - sprayed some white over it - matches well!
