Well, to tell ya the truth I didn't really know the difference when I bought them. But, what I have been told is that the low impedance injectors are better, and easier to tune from idle to 3000rpm than the high impedance for daily driving. For a race application I don't really know which would be better than the other.

Looks nice, im curious though, why did you go with low impedance injectors?

Well, it has been a while since I have posted. But things are still moving in the right direction. I took my hot side down to Chris at Kalamazoo Coatings, and got my headers, merge pipe, flanges, compressor housing (hot side), and the down pipe from the turbo out of the engine bay. I also had them coat the cold side compressor housing with a heat dissipating coating to keep the intake charge cooler before the inter-cooler. I have also sent my ECU out to Speed Inc. in Chicago for the startup tune and I also picked up an AEM injector driver for the injectors that I have since they are low impedance 55#ers. So, I still have a lot of wiring to do on the car, it will have to wait until after the holidays since I am heading out of town.
So, on that note.
To all of you that maybe checking this thread have a happy holiday season!

Well everyone that may be following this build, its been a little while since I posted up. Been out of town for the last 4 weeks on business so not much post time.
But enough about that crap, here are some pics of what I have gotten done.
The cold side is all fabbed I up, just need to make a bung for the intake temp sensor. So now I have been working on the wiring harness, I think tomorrow I will be putting the fuse box's in the harness. So, while it doesn't look like a lot that has been done. It is a bunch of tedious work to get this plumbing just right. So check out the pics, and let me know what you think.

Just a little update. The turbo system is finished! I finally got to finish the intake side of the system. Now I have been working on wiring. I had to exstend my harness a little bit for for fitment, now I have a few extra long wires that I need to take care of. But all in all I am happy with the progress. Not as fast as I would have liked it, but what do you do? Tonight I am packing to go back out to California for the weekend again, then I get back on monday to leave for Texas on thursday. Then if am lucky I might get the next weekend to work on it again before its off to SEMA.

Ok, so today I got the inter cooler as plumed as far as I can. I need one more 90 to finish from the IC to the TB. Then its all good to go. Then once I get everything plumed I will take everything back off, and wrap the complete hot side to the exit of the engine bay. Once I have the hot side off I will wire everything up and HOPEFULLY I will have a running car. Oh, yeah! I should really start thinking about coolant hoses. And I need a place to mount my meth kit.
I may be pulling the motor out in the near future, since I did order the LS9 cam and the other stuff to go with it. So, that should get done while the hot side is off also. I will also be putting the 4th gen motor mounts with poly bushing at the same time. And, Im sure this wont be the last thing that I have to do, but I still need to get a drive shaft made for it.
One step forward, 2 steps back.
I will post some pic.s tomorrow. We all love pic.s!
