Getting more done on the car lately. So this is what it should look like. 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound can. I have the hotside done, coldside done, coolant pluming done, waste gate done, BOV line done, fuel system done, drive shaft done.
Now it is time to finish up the wiring and get this baby running! I am going to work on that this weekend. I will have to figure out where I will put the aem at, and I hope to have the wiring as close to finished as possible by sunday night!
Here is what it all looks like almost finished!

Well, since I last posted. I got my drive shaft from Dave at Weller, and I do have to say that is a nice piece, at a great price. So that went in and of course it wouldn't fit through the spohn DS loop with the cross member bolted to the car. So out came the cross member and the torque arm and the drive shaft slid right in. Spohn BS, So far nothing I have from Spohn has fit correctly, Not one thing!

Once I got that all finished up, I went to work on the wiring. So far I have the fuse box wired in, but I don't have it completed yet. I am going to mount my relays for the fuel pumps in the back of the car closer to the battery. I am also going to run the hobbs switch for the second fuel pump. I also have to wire in all of my other gauges boost, fuel pres., and AFR in my a-pillar. I will be working on this stuff this next weekend.
Last night I made up my own coolant hoses to and from the radiator. I looked at all of the ones people have been using on the ls1 conversions just won't clear my hot side. So I made my own with silicone bends and aluminum tubing. It should work out just fine, I hope.
Tonight I will be wleding in the bung for my IAT sensor in my cold side. Then next on the list is to drill and tap the compressor housing for my boost reference, I should have done this before I installed it on the car. Now its gonna be a ***** to get it off.
I also need to get the wiring for the transmission finished up reverse lights, reverse lockout, and vss. I will be running one of the Cable X-box's.
I will post some pic's as soon as I get up to the shop again, it will be this week sometime.

I will run our new fuel additives in my car also. We just released somme really killer fuel products for gasoline.
Shawn, do you have a front mount intercooler? and if so did you cut out the center of your bumper cover? I don't remember it being cut.

yes i have a front mount.. and no i didnt cut it out.. gets plenty of air through the fog light holes

But, with there not being a lot of gas stations that sell E85 around west Michigan I am really thinking of pump gas. What do you guys think E85 or pump gas?
Now on to my next question, I have a AEM meth/water injection kit just laying around. I don't know if I will need it with the inter-cooler I have. When does a meth injection system become a benefit?

stil with pump gas.. there just isnt enough stations around us this way to make it easy enough to just go fill up all the time at the pump with e85.

im not running meth on my car.. never really liked the idea as it seems like it is just a bandaid to a bigger problem and just more things that could go wrong.

what kind of power? boost? compression? If you looking to make over 500rwhp then I'd say pump/meth or E85 is probably the best bet for low iats and gas friendly. E85 will keep the iats down low and most guys dont even use an intercooler with it and you can make much more power on it alone as opposed to pump 93.

    I sure hope so.

It is looking like I will get to start finishing the wiring in the next couple of weeks. I will also be measuring and ordering my driveshaft. So, I am getting closer little by little. I am hoping to have this thing finished by april or may. This is the goal!
