      i have one of these that we cut off to fit under the cowl. the one side hits the head then starts pusshing the spring down. it was a pain to use on ls1's becuase of no stud but it was the only way back in the day

                it works great.
                i even use it when heads are off the engine cause the c-clamp type suck on bhives cuase you have to compress them so fa.
                where did you see the lt1 tool?
