Man I do too.. Hope it's not the PCM? I watched the computer last night, the bars were way off what they should of been reading, IAC did come down to 37, but went as high as 155 at idle.. We'll see, have to find a place that sells the plugs I need.. Haven't found any yet, found the MAP, $60....Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postbut is it better than taking the intake manifold off?

New MAP, new plugs.. Car will start, but has low MAP Voltage.. When running it reads between, -.02 to .03 volts. KB stays at 12 whether at idle or 3 grand.. So I either have a bad MAP ground, or my PCM fried somehow.. My buddy is coming back Monday or Tuesday with a better scanner so he can check the MAP connector for voltage and ground..sigpic

i think you are correct with your diagnosis there. Unless you actually have a vacuum problem. Put a gauge on it.sigpic

Well nice thing, if it's PCM, I can get a new one tuned for my VIN for 90 bucks, and the shop that worked on my car can getsomeone to come to my house and tune it up..Originally posted by lozanoa11 View Postoh yea i doubt you do too but it would be good to rule it out.sigpic

Not that I know of.. Like I said earlier the MAP thinks it's at WOT when I amd at idle and just dumping fuel.. I replaced the MAP and plugs today, same problem.. Makes me think bad ground or PCM..Originally posted by Phantom383 View PostPlugs are looking a wee bit on the fat side.

Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

After talking to a VERY smart LS1 guy, it appears I have a vacuum leak somewhere.. Either the MAP isn't sealing or another line is unhooked.. I know someone else mentioned this earlier, going to recheck everything tomorrow..sigpic

Found my PCV unplugged from the drivers side valve cover.. I still think there is a leak somewhere as the car takes its sweet time returning to idle.. Doesn't seem to be running as rich, but it is still rich, shot a vid of the exhaust and the narrowband/tach so you can see how they react.. I am wondering if my MAP is not completely seated?
