I can plug in your vin number as well, but if you ever want to tune it with HP Tuners it will come up with a VIN/OS Mismatch error.

Edit: I have noticed that my AIR pump will still kick on even when it has been tuned out It isn't hooked up to anything, so I could remove it or pull the fuse....but it really doesn't bother me since there are no codes
Why do you have to be so far away? It's looking to be very likely that I'll be throwing everything from my 98 into a 94.

What route did you go with your LS1 swap? IIRC, it was an A4 as well.
Yea. It has a 60. Originally the LS harness was for a t56 but I added the 60 harness and the cAr was set up for a Manuel.

        +1

Yeahhhhh........ 4.5 hours of driving. You need to move closer. As of right now I think I am going to send it to Frost. I am still going to keep you as a back up Mike. I appreciate the offer.

So a few more hours of welding and cutting and grinding, oh my!

man, that was a pain. I dont think my welder survived. It wasnt doing so hot there at the end. Not bad for a Harbor Freight welder.I added the pad for the trans mount to sit on. That moves it back to its original position, it probably wasnt necessary but you cant be to careful. Soon as the paint is tacky, Its going in.

          • If I can get EFIlive from Darius, I can drive over. So far three people on this forum need 98 PCM's looked at/changed. I can do so at no charge for the PCM, I just need gas in the SRT4

Tuning for bolt ons is a shot in the dark IMO, but it's better than nothing. I street tune with wideband, usually get the main VE cells within +/- 1 or 2 percent. As for trans, I have a program that spits out pretty optimal transmission parameters based on gears and converter.

                      • ok, sounds like a winner. when can we do this? You were saying something about the o.s. and the vin# earlier, will that pose a problem for future tuning? Like if I rebuild the motor and install a larger cam and need to retune it wont be an issue right? Ima pm you my cell # text is fine

                        • Here is the list to be deleted. Vats, egr, evap, airpump, rear o2's. It also needs speedo recalc. I would like the fans to come on at 160. I have been thinking about raising the converter lockup to 45 mph.
we would just be tuning for headers , and a stall converter. If you can do this we would be a go if the timing is good.

                          • I can build a tune tomorrow really quick. So 160 thermostat is in it now? Fan temps for that would be higher. What brand long tubes?

                            • ok yeah, getting a little ahead of myself on the fan temp. That is how the lt was set up and it worked pretty well. but it still had a 180 T stat. I do want ot keep the temps a bit lower than stock. Maybee we could just lower the "fan on" point by 10 degrees? I am not sure whats in it now as far as the stat goes I will have to look and see. The long tubes are from Speed Engineering on ebay.
