The originals you have to heat up to melt the plastic. The replacments you just remove the clips

might as well throw a DS safety loop in there while you got it out?

True duals ... I may have to fabricate a custom one. I got one for free a while back and it didnt fit.

That DS loop looks tempting. Aren't you suppose to run a DS loop for anything over 13.99 or something?

Driveshaft loop required on all cars running 13.99 or quicker and utilizing slicks; except vehicles running 11.49 seconds or slower equipped with street tires.

So if you run slicks and faster than 13.99 you need a DS loop. If running slower than 11.49 with street tires you don't need one?

Does anyone know if they consider drag radials a street tire for that rule?

I think slicks are to be considered Bias Ply tires.

Well it looks like this issue isn't over yet. Started driving it out to woodward today and turned back around... driveshaft is far enough of balance that both times I did a 2nd gear pull, i was too afraid to exceed 4k RPMs for fear of things coming apart. Its noticeable at a 70mph cruise too. Hopefully i didnt mess up the yoke/10 bolt

Anyone know where I can get a drive shaft balancing? Also is anyone willing to let me borrow an aluminum DS for a day just so i can try to isolate the issue?

Joel - did you try to spin it 180*? Sometimes that's all it takes to get rid of the vibes.
