Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Thankfully just a U-joint! But I guess after 6 years of chirping 4th gear im doing pretty good. I got lucky, this happened right near my house so i was able to limp it to the garage. A piece of the u-joint let go somehow, not sure what the cause of it was. Happened while i was engine braking, with no shock to the drive line.
Just thought people would enjoy some minor carnage
For those that don't know what they are looking at, the needle bearing cap is gone. I believe it split in half some how... thats the only way i can explain the scars on either side of the driveshaft. The cap bolts didnt appear to be backed out or anything like that.
Sometimes the Almighty Mother of Car Guys sits on our shoulder, That could have been nasty at high speed.
Might be just the picture but the yoke looks as though one side is spread open further

I dropped the driveshaft off at the same place that gave me the spicers last time (when I bought the car). I am not the least bit disappointed that I broke one... like ive said, they have been through a lot
