Gotcha - yeah, it made more sense after I read the post in the Daily thread, haha.

We ended up with a pretty ambitious list of tasks, but technically they have three business days to get it done. My guess is that my car is acting as filler while they wait for parts or other sub-projects to get done before they can go to the next steps with the cars they already have on hand.

Gotcha. I'm hoping Brian will be able to make some time for my '81 to get it aligned. I'd much prefer he do it than someone I don't know. All the steering and suspension parts are new, so nothing will be stuck together.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I guess nobody else wanted to join us? It was pretty toasty, and the road construction crew decided to work directly across from us. Ugh. Cops didn't kick my brother or I out, but there wasn't a ton going on really, so no real reason for them to do so.

It was - especially when the sun went down and I stopped sticking to myself. The constant construction was ****ing annoying, though - nothing I love more than breathing in road dust. It was entertaining to watch, though. Especially watching about 20 people stand around and do absolutely nothing for 15 minutes.
And thanks! My brother wanted to get a new cover photo for FB, now that he has a car he's always wanted. But we couldn't exactly get a good photo looking out onto Woodward with a bunch of construction equipment and orange barrels all over the place, so I told him we could get a great shot of the car(s) using Ducati as the backdrop, since I've gotten great shots that way in the past. It appears I did a pretty decent job.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

I just hope that they get the right lane done before Friday. Right now, it's blocked off, as the left three lanes were re-asphalted over the weekend (starting Friday night - we got to watch them tear it up).Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
