Sounds like a crazy build! I definitely hear you on a lot of people going turbo, but for me I'd rather spend ~$3,000 (the turbo would be a tad more expensive than an N/A build, and yes, I've priced out my ENTIRE build already) and have 400 rwhp on tap whenever I want it then have a consistent 260 and about 350+ -ish spraying the piss out of it. For whatever reason I seem to trust boost more than nitrous...?

Good luck with the build though! Hopefully we'll have a few 3.8s that can run with the "big guys" soon!

Good luck with the build, always wanted to know what kind of times and output you get out of a setup like that. My problem is i'm broke, otherwise i would like to do something similar.

Goodluck with the build Travis. Kudos for being different not only sticking with a V6 but for having the guts to use N2O. Should be fun. Goodluck.

Received the 02 Vette 85mm MAF today. Also went to zzperformance here in GR and grabbed the 5-3 maf/iat connector for the MAF

If its only going to be making 280RWHP I see no problems with the trans as stock LS1 cars make more power than that. Jonny ran 400+ threw his for a little while and I don't think it missed a beat.

just a 3500 stall for now and trans cooler. Once the trans goes, in comes a performabuilt stage 2 trans.

rear seat delete is underway. Old seats are outta here, time to fabricate the new rear seat delete now for the dual nitrous bottles and fire extinguisher. Here are the pics so far

keeping them. They are going nowhere. Never know if I decide to put them back in and do something different with the nitrous down the road.

Plus they are the 30th anniv. leather ones, hard to find nowadays in the shape they are in.
