they are one and the same Brian, but the anti-roll bars are made for drag racing and the standard sway bars are for cornering.

They are pretty much the same. The only real difference is the drag bars are designed to be VERY stiff. I mean that they are pretty much solid and don't bend at all.Originally posted by meissen View PostNot meaning to thread jack but is there any difference between these "anti roll bars" and a "rear sway bar" ? I know this sounds like a dumb question but I've always heard them called roll bars and now I see everyone calling them anti sway bars when talking about cars with serious power...Last edited by c0ncEpT; December 18th, 2009, 01:48 AM.

I have that bar.. Haven't raced with it, but can sure feel the difference in the rear.. I can tell you W.O.T. with the anti roll bar on, the car stays level. No more torque flex. Spohn recommends welding the mounting brackets in place to avoid snapping the mount bolts off.. I have found it to be very streetable.. Also makes it much easier to turn the corners with a little tap of the throttle(you know what I mean..lol)Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View PostYes that is the one Sean, not a welded on piece.sigpic
