I wish you did the taillights, I would love to have my honeycomb lights converted to LED sequential lights & LED reverse lights . Would you do the 3rd Brake light on a TA?

Too much liability involved with exterior lighting. If one of his boards fails, for any reason, he could be held liable for any property damage or personal injury that occurs as a result. Mike and I were just talking about this yesterday.

Yep. Theres SO much liability involved there, its just too much of a risk. Even if YOU didn't sue, the person who plowed into you could. The best I could do would be to make a mock up of two tail lights attached to a base that you could set up in your garage or man cave as a PURELY DISPLAY set. Just something cool to look at.
The other issue with doing taillights is they are sealed. It would take fairly extensive cutting, fabricating, and re-sealing to pull it off, and would make them prohibitively expensive. Probably in the 3-4 hundred range for one set.

I understand but I know it's possible to do a sequential conversion (maybe not LED sequential for the reasons you stated). I've seen LED 3rd brake lights on ebay but they are hard to find for the high rise spoiler & I figured you might do that since it's an accessory light (no harm in asking LOL). I am thinking of something to spice up the interior so I will get back to you if I come up with something

What about a waiver? Something along the lines of a contractual agreement that they are for off road use only, and the purchaser of the work assumes sole and total responsibility for any incidents that occur? I don't really know how this stuff works, but that's what I was thinking

Even the most well-intentioned and professionally written waiver can be turned on it's head, if it can be proved that the seller sold the item to someone who was knowingly going to be using the product in a manner other than directed. Not to mention, as this type of work is what Mike does for a living, potential legal risks, however remote, are to be avoided at all costs, as legal action taken against him could cause irreparable damage to his professional credibility and business relationships.

Take a look at the "They aren't joking around!" thread on here. Same situation here. If Mike modified a number of sets of taillights/side markers/turn signals/whatever, and told buyers "Now, this is for OFF ROAD USE ONLY, so don't use them on public roads!", and it was proven that he was aware that buyers were disobeying this direction, he can then be held liable, regardless of the "CYA" he did prior to charges being filed.

That's a heap of trouble Mike and I have talked about at length, and I don't think any sane individual would open themselves up to such vulnerability.

Well, I would probably be able to swing the center tail light for you. Let me look into it, I believe the requirements for it are pretty loose.

I'll have to look at it. Depends on if it is already LED, etc etc. Let me clear a few more of these out of the que and iI will set up a time to meet.

Thank you, it is very much appreciated & if you don't feel comfortable doing it that's perfectly fine too.

The '93 f-body gauge cluster is also not LED. Yet. lol It's still possible. Wait until he finishes the project he's working on now, it should be a pretty good indicator of what he's capable of.

Can you let me know a price on a full interior led swap for a 94 Formula? Gauges, lights, everything. Definitely looking to have it done in the next two months if at all possible. Thanks!!

just dint know how to retrofit HVAC and overhead and mirror lights. Already converted the dash to blue less the maps and overheads to bright white and the floor dins and 4wd actuator to blue. Parking lights are led. License plates are led

So that would mean a no for doing switchbacks on my turn signals?
