Not trying to add any more drama as Brian made a request to keep it between you two. What Mike chooses to do with then does not matter! If he was flipping them it may be more difficult or impossible to make a profit if repairs have to be made.

How you handle this situation speaks volumes to your integrity regardless if they are your parts or not.

Money wasn't in my hand, it was never sent to me. He seen the pics, he still bought them, willing to split the machine work is fair, even though from the looks of his pics he works at a machine shop and probably will get it done free. He is the only reason my buddy is offering half.

I'll address a few things here.

Yes I saw the pictures and still bought them. I'm not sure if you can tell but the pictures were taken with a potato and unless you knew those heads were damaged you wouldn't be able to tell.

I did tell you I was going to flip them. Only after I asked to call off the deal and you said "Really? I already ordered other parts, based our deal, money has been sent out, plus I pissed off other guy that wanted it was sold.". In which case I said if it was a big deal I'll just pick them up and flip them to get my money back.

Yes, I do work at an engine shop. But I'll tell you right now nothing is free.....

Lastly, I am willing to meet in the middle and take $95. Its unfortunate that it needed to come to this but I'm glad its getting resolved.

Sounds like both sides came to a resolution. I'm going to lock the thread up. You guys can hash out the final details in PM.

Alright, and it's with that 'settlement' that I'm going to close the thread.

Discussion has been had, statements have been made, opinions have been shared, and a settlement has been reached. I see no need to keep the thread open.

Mike-Greg please if anything more needs to be worked out in regards to coordinating the refund please take it to PM's. If either of you feel this thread should remain open, or you feel it needs to be reopened at a later time, PM me with the your reasons.

Thank you both for handling this professionally. And thank you to our MiFbody members for not allowing this thread to get off course or out-of-hand.

FWIW - just to bring closure to this even more, Mike sent me a message on Facebook and confirmed he received the money from Greg's buddy already.
