You want to address any of the shady things that you did? Edit the thread, advertise them as new, NEVER originally say that they weren't yours? Would you like to comment on any of that? Seems like your the one not telling the story here

Brian with all due respect, Mike has given Greg AMPLE amount of time to make this right. Its clear that he isnt going to hence why Mike posted this. I am sure Mike didnt want to post this and I am sure he hated that it came down to this. But in all seriousness people should know and this should be pointed out to everyone on the forum. Greg isnt going to make it right nor answer the questions of him being shady and changing things around. I for one think this should be public, when another member on here was called out for selling/advertising things wrong and falsely, I believe he was warned and then furthermore banned. You have to be pretty foolish to think Greg is actually going to do something to make this right. Hes just passing the blame.

I agree wholeheartedly with you on all of the points I left in your quote - I'm not deleting the thread and I've left almost all the posts up -- the only ones I deleted [no offense] were one of yours. I'm just asking that we all do our best to not raise the temperature of this thread since it's a delicate situation -- IE - let's not get heated, and don't get the pitchforks out quite yet. Sometimes these threads can spur on an amicable resolution.

Greg shouldn't have advertised them as new if they weren't. Furthermore, editing the posts and removing wording is definitely shady behavior. In the PM's between Greg and Mike (remember - no private messages are truly private and here's a great example of why), the comments were originally that once the money was received that Greg would have to tear apart the motor, but then in a subsequent PM it turned into it being a buddy's responsibility to tear the motor apart.

              -BUT-

It's not all on Greg's shoulders. Mike's buddy should have atleast looked at the heads when he picked them up - the damage Mike pictured would have been quite obvious at first glance. Although the damage looks "old" and not "fresh" so I personally don't believe the damage was done after the fact. "Could'a should'a would'a" hindsight is always 20/20.

I'm trying to be impartial and I'd like to see some resolution to the situation. IMHO it seems that Mike should be receiving a partial refund for the heads since they're clearly damaged. If a refund is given and/or the refund amount is between Mike and Greg to figure out.

Greg as a neutral 3rd party here's what I see.......You were eager, willing to handle the sale for these parts from start to finish (finish: being the point having money in hand). Now that there's a problem you're not willing to handle it anymore. To be fair, you should be leaning on your buddy and telling him to call Mike to make it right.

How you handle this situation speaks volumes to your integrity regardless if they are your parts or not.

                  http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/sho...154#post861154

I contacted Greg about an LS2 block and set of new 243 casting LS6 heads he had listed for sale.

We made a deal, I paid him with Paypal and I arranged to have a friend pick them up as he worked 10 minutes from Greg’s location. Greg gave me his friend’s number and said his friend would meet up with my buddy to make the exchange. Everything went smoothly and I met up with my friend that night. The block and heads were all in individual black plastic bags. I put everything in the back of my truck and took them to work on Monday.

I got to work Monday and took the heads out of the bags and was enraged to see that both heads were damaged on the deck surface when they were advertised as new.

so you stated you put everything in the back of your truck, is this the same truck your buddy picked up everything in? did he strap them down? did you strap them down ? or did they side around and get banged up. Trevor said your buddies bed was full of snow. Who puts heads in the back of a truck to bounce around You should have came and picked them up like you said you would and then only to change it up last minute.

the heads were in plastic bags. as long as they were closed they would be fine. the markings and chunk missing on those heads are not from sliding around a truck. plus if the truck bed was full of snow. they are surely not moving around. lets be real here.

I didnt start a thread saying mike was a bad buyer by sending his buddy to pick up parts. Im not out to **** anyone. If I pick up parts for people which I have done for a couple people on his forum. I also look things over for them, give them a call if i see something, send them a picture, I looked them over. Plastic over snow will slide. things dont stay in place in a truck bed, they bounce around specially with the pot holes in this state and season .... so lets be real here

Greg, Why don't you post the pictures that you deleted out of the for sale thread in here. Not sure why you would delete pictures out of a thread after an issue arises.
