wow this is just crazy. didnt ever get to meet mike but sounds like i missed out on meeting a pretty great guy. really makes you think about how life could be so short. thought are with the family

Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer, Mikes girlfriend of 8 years. Thank you all for the kind words you have spoken of Mike. He was definitely an amazing man. We miss him more than words can explain. He has 2 sons, 19 and 6. We did plan on picking up Gaspos car the day he died. It was going to be a family project car. The sad thing about the whole situation is this all unfolded in front of our 6 year old son. He basically saw his dad die in front of him. As the paramedics were getting ready to take him out of the house his lips were blue, and couldn't breath. We watched them give him CPR before racing the hospital. Again THANK YOU for everything.

I also have a video of his last pass made 3 weeks prior, he ran a 10.5 @ 127. I would love to post it, but am unsure how to get my phone to cooperate.

Jennifer, I ended up buying the car from Gaspo (Jeremy) and have a 6.0 engine to go in it, just like Mike was planning. I didn't get to meet him in person, but I really wish I had the opportunity. The car will be done right and I'll try to get it to a meet on the east side.

Jen, Mike's girlfriend, was hoping some of the members could share their memories of Mike so she could compile them and save them for Mike's son who is only 6 years old.

Hi Brian,
I have a big favor to ask of you, and the members of this site. When I went to therapy today about Mike's passing, my therapist suggested that I ask the members of the site to please share their memories of Mike, whether they are good or bad. This way I can put them all together in an album for Tyler our son so he will have all of these memories to look back on and remember the man his dad was. If people would like to share memories with us, can you have them mail memories/pictures of Mike to me at:
