        patients is a virtue... just picked up a 3800 for $250.. it came complete with the series III aluminum intake, and injectors...anyone know what there worth?

            On fwd, the series 2 intake is plastic, series 3 is aluminum. I will post pics, I'm swapping parts now.

              project update, disassembled my engine, cylinder walls are great, engine is really clean inside. I used new GM gaskets, and port matched the intake to the heads. Now I have to go thru the 2 boxes of bolts and brackets and misc parts the previous owner left for me.. which sucks so far..

                          port matching.. I wanted to do a cam and headers, but that's out of my budget at the moment. just found out i'm missing the tensioner/coolant passages..

                                The other cylinders.. it was neutered at the factory..
                                I'm missing a few parts because I bought the car with the motor half pulled, I'm missing the tensioner, idler pulley and bracket and starter so far..
