Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I figure you took the time out of your day to help me out, so take that little bit of extra cash and treat yourself nice. Upgrade your next entree to the fillet? Maybe find a girl of questionable character on the wrong part of town?
Found some more low spots in the old fender. A little push from the back made things flat again after a good sanding of the whole panel. If it gets warm enough tomorrow I might squirt some primer and color. Rear disc setup is turning out to be a major PITA....more parts on the way to check that project off the list.
Not many pictures, but a TON of work just to get the front fender presentable. Found a hairline crack in the edge of the wheelwell lip Also pulled the bump rails, messed shit up pretty good. Yes, I used a heat gun and went slow - still pulled paint off and left adhesive. More stuff to paint The last photo is where I had to build a new lip, doesn't look too shabby!
The trick I learned from Joel was to soak the suckers in GooGone before trying to pull them -- worked like a charm on the Red Beast, left everything intact, with very little residue.

That wouldn't have worked. Somebody sprayed a layer of clear over the doors with the rails still on.
