Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
found a harness on eBay so I can run all the functions of my Eclipse unit I might even run a backup camera if I can find a small color/night vision unit that I can hide somewhere in the back.
This is that REALLY dirty/pitted rim that I compared the other dirty rim to...this one has yet to be polished. I want to find some 2000 before I hit it with compound, not sure if I have any around though.
No 2000 in the garage so I went to the Mothers Aluminum Polish and the mini-ball. I'm not sure what I like better - scuffed, sanded to 1500, or polished. The picture above is at 1500 grit, picture below shows scuffed (green scotch-brite) on the left, right is obviously the polished. Maybe I'll just have them coated and not deal with it

make a tab off to the side, and bolt it to the lower license plate bolt.

There are only two bolts up top IIRC, the bottom fits into a channel. They have them at mount to the top bolts, I just don't know how crappy it would look.
I need to keep maintenance in mind. The Camaro isn't a show car or just a weekend warrior, I'd hate to constantly have to polish these things. Teflon sounds nice...just hit 'em with a hose and call it a day
