I ordered another new driver side front fender...King Cobra again. Funny thing is that this fender is no way near as soft as the last one. It will need a small spot of puddy to fix a stamping imperfection but initial overview seems much better than last time!

I'll just give it to ya: 1990 Kawasaki 550sx. Nicely modded ski that was given to me by a friend who now lives in Seattle. If I got it running I could ride it - he just wants it when he comes back to Michigan to visit.
I found a company out of New York that is making me a harness for my Eclipse deck. Not cheap, but I need it for all the fancy options

Wasn't directed towards you. It has been lightened to about 230 lbs and pushes about 55 hp...it's not for the unseasoned rider.

He thought he seized the crank. Turns out that the flywheel nut wasn't locked down and it backed out and wedged itself into the front housing. When I'm done, the bottom end might have 4 hours on it the top end will be refreshed. If I run the copper head gasket it will likely need premium plus octane boost...not your average 550 I think I'll just put in the fiber head gasket and call it good.

requires a special sealant. Thin pinch wall on these 550's. If compression hits 175psi or higher --> race fuel

There is one gas station with e85 that is about 15 miles away and takes 25 minutes to get there. Plus, water and e85 don't like each other.
