Yeah. Its top notch quality. Well I will be getting a rear sometime in late April, early May and I plan on driving down to pick it up. He is just south of Chicago. If you buy one around the same time we could split gas to pick it up. It's -$200 if you pick it up.

Yea, Ill let you know, it all depends on money obviously... But id like to get one soon, so i dont have to baby the car.

Im researching the rest of my drivetrain, so i could run some 345 R6s on the street like i wanted.

Yeah the evil dollar. I won't have the money for it all until about that time and I'm really in no particular hurry for it.
        mini tub and narrowed rear?

i would recommend a 3" chromoly shaft over an alum. I have a 3.5 alum thats rated for the power but the hit with manual is crazy. the process of welding the yokes on is the issue. alum flexes. where they weld the yokes on the alum is harder and brittle. They tend to crack and break there.
HEHE i have done it. CCI said i was crazy for using an alum shaft. When i ordered it i just told them a power level. Forgot to mention it being a stick car

not sure yet, I could do a mini-tub/full tub. but id have to re-do my down bars.

I may narrow it an inch or so, Im planning on keeping my C5Z. just having them widened to ~12.5 for 345s

If really like to find a set of DD C5Zs, so i can have 13" wide wheels. and have the axles narrowed a couple inches

but im not scared to take an air hammer to my inner fender, and roll my fender to get them to fit.

I also plan on running 315s on the front.

Its looking like itll cost me ~2800 to have my T56 rebuilt, then another 1200 for a SPEC Stage 3+ , with a Lightweight PP, and a Lightweight Flywheel.

Sounds good. Check into Monster Clutches. I'm actually picking one up tomorrow but you can get one with a lightweight flywheel for under $800 (or maybe a bit more depending on choice). They are a relatively new company but have wild acceptance on tech.

You should give sponsor Mike Ridings a call about your trans he has done a lot of work for members of this site and all of them have come back saying nothing but the best about him and his work. I do understand that he is busy so give him time but he would be a great trans guy to talk to about your T56.

nice work and damn thats one EXPENSIVE rear end

                    • When i get there, and have cash for a trans Ill get ahold of him.

Yea, Id really like to set this car more towards very sprited daily driving/caynon carver/road course car... so i know that the new wavetrac is the perfect diff.. but damn its expensive.. ~$900 more than a spool.
