Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Dude, you so should have gotten one of those billet blocks...they are the strongest evar! Oh..I have some 18K gold valve covers you could put on it too....top it off real nice!
Trust me I know an aftermarket block would have got me a little more better base and I could have pushed it out to a 427 or even 434. We are building this block right and my buddy the engine builder knows his shit. We are going to also put Hard blok into areas of the water jackets to help so we don't have to worry about any thing moving. If I wasn't 100% confident that we could make this block work I would have went the after market route. As already said this is a 72 block they made some great blocks back then but u got to check your block and can never assume they are all going to be able to be punched out to a 421 and stroked.

I will put the gold covers on if u sell me your 24's we all know with your lack of pics you must be going for that 4 x 4 look.....
Okay no pics but small update. Crank came in finally, and got the block all ground down and clearanced. Just need to get it to the machine shop then I can start building this monster.
I also scored a 76mm Throttle body to replace the 71mm TB not sure if I need it or not but for $70 I couldn't pass it up.
Hoping to have Max torque and HP by 6800 RPM, Its a street motor so the plan is the stay under 7000 rpm. The parts in the motor can handle alot more RPM.
