3 stage, aftermarket, and some sort of redOriginally posted by phoenix_rising View PostI'm intrigued. Are you using a 2 or 3 stage paint? OEM or aftermarket? Red??? Need more info. I thought the paint on your car was in good shape, what was the reason you decided to paint it?
.
My brother in law has a Matrix painting system. All the paints, computer, scale, pearls, metallics. He can mix anything and match almost anything.
He does it for a living. It cost a pretty penny, but it saves trips to the paint store.
Yeah I'm pretty excited. I'm going tonight to tape the car off for its final coats of primer. WOOT!!

LOL....you have no idea!!!Originally posted by cobalt camaro View Posttenpin842 i bet your going crazy waiting for paint. I love the way fresh paint looks, it's glorious. Oh also July 16th birthday
My car got its final coat of primer Monday morning.
We need to block it with 400 and then get ready for paint.
I'm thinking we will do this on Friday. (hoping!!!)
My paint will be ordered today. Already have my clear.
Just need to remove my rear hatch, take out my t top weather stripping, and scotch bright all the misc stuff.
Get my car in the paint booth, get it up on the portable lift, remove my rims and tires, and paint it all up nice.
GOSH.....I cant wait!!!!
O...I have to clean the paint booth. Not like I need to but I'm washing EVERYTHING down. I want as little dust or dirt in the paint as possiable.sigpic

Good luck with it! What ever happened to taking a week off from work to do it? Or you gonna do that after it's done so you can enjoy it?

I asked Bryan (my bro in law) what he wanted me to do.Originally posted by SouLTeRRoR View PostGood luck with it! What ever happened to taking a week off from work to do it? Or you gonna do that after it's done so you can enjoy it?
I can only do so much. I stayed at his shop till 11pm last night to help paint 2 cars because he primered my car, so that put his "paying" jobs off.
I might take Friday off, i'm not sure yet.sigpic
