Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

You know what they say Todd Go Big or Go home, 383 damn thats gonna turn some heads
yeah 385 with a holley stealth ram up top. If it fits under the hood lol!
I was told it would if I take off part of the hood frame that backs the hood.
But thats a long way away.
I cant wait to start blocking and sanding the bumpers down!

A holley Stealth Ram will NOT fit under your stock hood. unless you plan to cut a hole clean through it.
Will it fit under the stock hood of my car?
Yes on the Camaro. Yes on the Firebird. But, it will hit the underside of the hood on the structural support. removal of that and should be fine.
We will see....but like I said thats a LONG way off.....lets worry about the paint!
So here are some more pics. car waiting for the final block
car getting blocked out and ready to go
car waiting for the final coat of primer
Sub-frame connectors welded in:
I'll have everything rust proofed under the car when were done painting.
I decided on a color, We have to order the paint.
All thats left is the cars final coat of primer, and a nice wet sand.
Everyone is wondering why its taking so long.....Well its an after hours thing. Not something were working on ALL the time.
Plus I'm not rushing anything. When it gets done...it will get done, no short cuts, very straight, and I can say I helped.
So thats the scoop, hope more progress pics in a week or so.
I want one of those lifts... I could use that in my barn..
Looks great Todd.. Can you keep an eye out for me for a set of the side rails the mid GFX go around.. I wanna add them to my car for the TA stuff..

Nope guy never came through. Said he had it all drawn up, just needed to add color.
Well, we can't wait around all year. It shouldn't take a month to draw something like that up.
yeah metal flake, pearl, were just going to toss shit in and see what it comes out like LOL!!!!
I'm intrigued. Are you using a 2 or 3 stage paint? OEM or aftermarket? Red??? Need more info. I thought the paint on your car was in good shape, what was the reason you decided to paint it?
