Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

So, when it comes back the plan is to....
Finish installing everything under the car.....again!. Ffs.
Then when the hatch and wing come back from the painter. Install that and then finish installing the interior.
After that its motor and wiring harness.
I dont know! Ive been so busy at work I stuffed it back in the garage and havent looked at it. Sad I know. Everything that I could see looked great. He ended up doing the entire drivers floor pan, and both rear frane rails the drivers front frame rail. And the rear spring pockets. Plus the cavity in front of the rear trailing arms. Everything has been epoxy primed.
I cant wait to get back to it.
Well the color is off, but its silver on a silver car. Ill get some pics up eventually. I just couldn't do a black hatch on a silver car, Im not a teenager. So now I can get the interior put in it and start to finish the underside....again.
I am going to get some single stage paint put into aerosol cans to do the underside of the car where I had it blasted, to seal it up and protect it. So I have to do that before I can reinstall the dif and fuel tank etc.
I bought a cam and springs today, I have to pick them up tomorrow. I have an ls7 cam and beehives. I couldn't wait anymore! had to get it. So ...soon as I get the body of the car put back together I am going to ship out the block and crank. I need to get the pistons swapped around too.
Progress is slowing a bit, Im working 7 days a week right now, so Time is tight.
A big thanks to gols1go, Thanks Ken!
Well I am hoping to get some stuff done after work this weekend. I need to remove the door panels and put the correct speaker rings in for the t/a door panels. Then remove the console and put a new shift cable in. Then I can start installing the interior. I might take a few days off around the holidays to get some stuff done too. We'll have to wait and see.
Well, I finished the hatch install. I need to get some single stage paint in spray cans for the bottom of the car. I need to paint it before I install anything else. The shocks need to get reinstalled before the carpet gets put in place so no interior yet. I'm just going to paint it light gray to seal it after the blasting and epoxy. Feel like I'm spinning my wheels.
I also ordered the fuel filter/regulator yesterday. That'll help when the time comes.
So Santa dropped off my headers, Speed eng. 1 7/8 stainless, and front cover ls2 with cam sensor, for my engine. I don't know what he did with the timing set. 20151224_152631.jpg
