very true... at this point youre gonna be paying a couple hundred every couple weeks or so to fix whatever breaks next. be best to just get some new stuff and avoid future problems. lol been there i used to have a 6 remember? my parents never ended up going for it i ended up buying a new car

Remember with an LS1 swap or LT1 swap your replace used parts with used parts. So it won't solve your problem with thing breaking completly. Unless you plan on ordering all brand new stuff...

Worst part is that I know "Oh, EGR valve, time to replace the engine" is a horrible excuse, but damn I want an LS1 so bad. I'm trying to really talk my parents into it. I think a good excuse to stick to is that if I don't get the engine now, I'd end up getting it later or buying a whole new car, which would be WAY MORE money than just getting the LS1 now and getting it over with.

i got an idea, next time you fill er up with the old gasoline pour some antifreeze in with in, then the loan you will have to get right away......

as far as a K-Member for an LS1 car, my stocker will be coming out of my car shortly if you want it? not a tubular, but it's one step closer, you can atleast say "This used to have an LS1 on it"

they aren't worth much other then scrap metal, you can have it when i take it out....might save ya a buck on having to get a Tubular one (which is what i'm getting shortly)

You might be better off buying a wreaked F-Body and getting all the parts you need off of that. Then sell the extra parts (Like Doors) to get some extra money back.

Called Sean today to have the EGR valve blocked off, unfortunately no one can flash the computer to reprogram it to ignore the EGR valve in the 3.4L, which I kinda already figured. So, that'll be taken care of and I'll still be able to drive it until I can get the LS1.
