sounds like it could be a vats issue.

Its got me stumped Jeff. It is almost symptomatic of the security resistor going bad but it starts instantly on a fast crank. Also does it with both my regular and my spare key. I have the module powered by my fuel pump relay. (Pin #87, power with key on) Maybe it has something to do with that. Otherwise the installation of that module is pretty straight forward and has no problems other than that. Or potential problems I should say.

I would pull it off your pump relay and switch it to something like the ignition and see what it does, can't hurt.

No offence dude, but you need to slow down.

Make goals for what your trying to accomplish. Dont just throw parts at your car. You have zero reason to upgrade your injectors. Just like in your parts thread, what are you trying to do with the car? Get some bolt ons and go from there. Also, do some reading, get on tech or get one of the great books that are out there on the LS motors. There is tons of info out there, and really great people (as you have noticed in this thread), but take your time and do it right. If you just want to buy $1000 dollars worth of mis matched parts you might as well just open up your wallet while cruising down the expressway.

Not trying to be a dick so if I come off as that, my apologies. Just trying to help/save you time and money.

I agree. Set some goals so you know where to start and where to stop. Saves you alot of money. A tuner will help you tremendously as well. Will make it feel like a new car in some cases and keep you going in the right direction. Reading to many tech articles can confuse you also. Go with proven parts. Look for deals. Capitalize.

i have saved up a decent amount to spend on my car over the year.. i put it aside to do this "i always wanted nitro"
reason i asked if i should get injectors was to support my nitro kitt ive read some stuff about the mixture of fuel and nitro ect..
reason for upgrade of intake is im sure its losing alot of power because i have a ls1 intake

                      im getting car repainted $1200
i want to get things done before spring/summer time.. so i can enjoy it "i know i shouldn't rush anything and im trying not to" just looking for help
$2000-2500 for mods and fun stuff i want to spend my money right and i do take my time and pride in what i do
i dont totally understand whats best for me at this moment that is why im asking but ive learned alot from what i did know. and also thankful for everyone helping me and also good advice

there is plenty of time for me to make up my mind on things but i do need the advice

Pull the heads send them out to AI have them CNC'd then drop a cam in her. She will scream.

                        995 bucks for a 226cc head job.

                        A LS2 GTO with a cam and 226cc heads made 494rwhp.
Obviously with a intake and exhaust.

                          Pump the brakes homie.

                          LS6 intake
your 243 heads are alright, I would throw a nice cam in there with some new pushrods and valve springs.
Get it tuned and you will have a whole new animal of a car.
Most of those parts can be found for sale used on places like LS1tech or even on here.
The only things I would buy new would be the cam and springs. everything else I wouldn't think twice to buy used if I came across a good deal.

You don't need new/bigger injectors. If you're dead set on spraying it, get a wet kit

I don't know of any body who can out port/polish a CNC machine. But that would be for squeezing the most horsepower out of them. By all means if you can oversize the valves, do a angle job on them and port and polish it go for it. Just remember by smoothing it to much or taking to much out you can be losing power do to the fuel not atomizing correctly.

i have full exhaust "kooks headers" 3 inch
car is getting tuned for sure but i wanted to do mods first
i think they will tune my car to handle nitro alot better aswell.. so i know my limits (idk thats a guess)

the things i want dont cost a fortune honestly... its really just a nitro kitt and frame connectors also some new rotors.
