Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

this car has some starting issues so i dont think its a dealership replacement i do think my crank sensor may be reason it dont want to start sometimes on first few cranks.. but this car will blow away a ls1 pretty bad and im nowhere near a pro shifter.. lol it has power but i exspect that the ls1 would with the heads and exhuast on it would do similar... when i bought it he said it was a long block and had no money to put a cam or intake on it so just used ls1 stuff to complete the set up.. he claimed he pulled a loan out to buy it... but when i bought car he still had a lean on it so i paid it off right then and there then it was mine. he owed like 6k "idk how loans work totally.."
biggest thing is i dont think someone would tap the block to relocate a knock sensor honestly its much more work.. im happy if its a ls1.. but be very happy if its a ls2 and ill shit my pants if its a ls3 but i almost fully doubt of ls3
also i still would like to know why my block has a B1 casting.. its 1 of a kind lol no1 knows

that wire from there probably runs down the side of the block right past the knock sensors. those wires are the add on harness's to convert to the later engine. the alternator wires should go through the power steering bracket out the top
the reason i think its an ls2 (05-06) also is anything after that would have to have a conversion box or have the crank wheel changed(crank removed) because our cars require a 24x tone wheel. 05/6 ls2 still used a 24x. after that they are 58x
i have played with a few ls's . or a few hundred..
i have an ls3 in the closet in my house. let me flip it over and see what that one says
i owe u a beer or plenty of them man.. or soda pop and lunch.
thanks for helping me out hope to meet u at some of these meetings
hopefully i can get all these kinks worked out with my car by that time "im learning all these sensor things" i can work carburetors but who cant haha
p.s. ill take that ls3 block from yah haha (: and who in the world puts a block in there closet "shakes my head" hahaha nice work man you made my day!
