ok maybe i should make my own thread lol canton oils pans only go up to a 6qt oil pan is 1 qt a big difference? i thought they made a 7 qt pan?

I just bought a moroso Oil pan for 40 bucks.

I hear you MUST have a deep oil pan to run the HIGH volume, Or it will empty your pan, i also hear of some guys getting away with running 5.8 quarts of oil on a stock pan.

I just run A stock new oil pump with the white spring, i think i stretched it as well. and welded my pickup tube in the CORRECT angle, And yea, Once i get my new motor built, im using the moroso pan and then the high volume pump.

Pretty much just use a stock modded oil pump until you can get a Good oil pan. I would of changed but no one wants to help me change my heads lol and im not putting a nice oil pan on a slow car.

once you get a Real pan I Would say get the HV pump

Fred knowing your cheap ass we can turn a stock oil pump into a "high pressure" one by shimming the spring. We can also port it to flow better.

You can also run the stock pump re-sumped and just run a bigger filter. You can also use an oil filter sandwich to run the oil cooler.
