Thanks, maybe late tomorrow we can fire it up. So far I dont see a reason NOT to buy these. What will you be taking off?Originally posted by bri2203 View Post"T304 Steel with Stainless ": per auction
keep up the good work Nate!
Thanks. I am ready for the project to be done.Originally posted by OIF1VET View PostLooking good Nate.. I need to get off my lazy ass and work on mine!!
Still waiting on the clutch kit so I took my Z28 badges off and painted them.
I have ran out of things that I can do. Still confused on how to tune the car for the EGR/AIR and the plug wires just seem too close. IDK how to get them any tighter to the block than they are, just not a lot of room.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

Right now I still have stock manifolds. I was planning to installing spark plugs and header at the same time but this afternoon I installed a new set of AC plugs, horn contacts, and I purchased an oil pan gasket, rear main gasket, and rear sway bar bushings so I will probaly drive it for a while before I invest more money into it.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostThanks, maybe late tomorrow we can fire it up. I will be sure to read along and follow how worth it they were for you.

These ebay headers don't have nearly as much wire clearance as pacesetters but you still should be able to get them safely out of the way.-Joel

Put in another long day with the Camaro, I am ready for this project to be over.
Got a new pressure plate, clutch, throw out bearing, put in. Trans back in, exhaust on, interior back together, and some other little things.
Waiting on my 02 extensions, trans fluid, oil, plug wire guards or something, and some exhaust work.
Now that we got the trans in the headers have less room than I thought they would but I want to drive it before I grind of any more. Ill throw some pics up later tonight.
Y pipe fit..pretty crappy. Could be related to my shitty motor mounts but so far the Y pipe is the worst part of the headers. The left rear 02 sensor is sooooo close to the floor boards its not even funny. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it though.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

new clutch
New Throwout bearing. Notice the size of the lip that comes up

Old throw out bearing, much smaller in size (the lip that comes up and is rolled over0

Almost everything back in on the bottom side

Pretty sure I will have to take a bit more off this, going to drive it and see first.

y pipe into I pipe.

int all back together.

Going to fire it up today.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

It could have been much worse. For what I paid, I expected to have to finesse parts.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Postdarn it doesnt look like those headers ended up fitting too good
I'll tale it to the exhaust shop in the spring to get everything welded up and solid.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed
