Though, when I feel like it, I'll probably switch the rears out to bilsteins as it's a much easier swap than the front and I can't carry much more than 100+ lbs without the tire hitting on larger bumps.
Ill have to look at prices... Id like whatever i get to work but ultimately im goin to change it all to koni's and tubular everything down the road.

Mine doesnt sit that low now that it has correct sized wheels on it. No matter what, I still need to help repay you for the header install we did over a year ago.

      Everything has settled now.

        • Eibach Pro kit with Monroe shocks. It turned out perfect IMO.

Id take this setup over Kyles Strano/Hothkis(sp) set up any day.

Mine sits pretty low. I have Bilsteins and Intrax springs. It's amazing how driving down a bumpy road can make you pretty uptight

                • Joel would you consider cutting your stock springs?

If you didnt like it you could have my front LT1 springs (fred idk if yours are different).

I wanted to try it but couldnt pass up the deal I got on mine.

I think if I am lowering the car I should have a spring with a higher spring rate as this will be performance driven. Nothing against cut springs, but i don't feel like taking it all apart and aligning it just to go through it all over again.

                      • If this is for handling, you might as well just go with coilovers. Expensive, but extremely effective. Or Konis with a good spring.

Im the biggest suspension newb ever... Whats the difference? I thought the factory setup was a coilover??

The factory setup is technically a coil-over setup, yes. I should've been more specific - go with an adjustable coilover setup, thus the last part about the Konis was mostly redundant.

                            • Ok so basically the key difference you are referring to is the spring/ride height would be adjustable?

                              • Well, Konis have adjustable damper and rebound settings.

A straight adjustable coilover will generally allow those settings, along with a ride height adjustment.
